how to test

How You Can Be Tested

We are currently working to have FREE TESTING for OTC through the Division of Medical Genetics and the Department of Pediatrics - University of Utah.

Are you at risk of OTC deficiency? Contact us to learn if you descended from Jane Wright Earl or to learn more information about testing for ornithine transcarbamylase OTC deficiency.

OTC ER and Treatment Letters

Once you have been determined to be a carrier of OTC, it's important to have protocol and treatment letters from your doctor/geneticist. We can help you and your physician draft a letter, and we also have sample letters available upon request. Contact Us for more information.
